Our Story
Our story begins with the dream of a group of seven people to contribute to a better world with greater opportunities for everyone. We are a team of collaborators from Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil, and today we aim to leave a mark in a corner of the world where we can make a positive difference.
Tanzania is the place that guided our hearts there, and today we can proudly say that we are honored to support, even if gradually, the education of girls and adolescents in the country.
The team has decided to name the NGO Tiago Feldberg M.…who was one of our beloved collaborators (Founders), cherished by his family, friends, and all who crossed his path. Tiago, originally from Brazil, dreamed of founding an NGO in Africa, especially in Tanzania. He left this world in July 2024, inspiring us to unite our dreams and turn them into reality without waiting.
Tiago belonged to two of the sponsoring companies Wodobox and DestinOriente. Together with DestinOriente, a company dedicated to group travel and creating beautiful experiences, Tiago and some team members have traveled to Tanzania on several occasions. These trips made us fall in love with the country, and we aim to promote its maximum socioeconomic development to help girls and their families achieve a better life. Tanzania holds a special place in our hearts because Tiago, along with his wife Magda, a member of this group, sponsored a girl named Amina, contributing to her education—she is now also an important part of our family and friends group. Additionally, Martin and Pame, owners of DestinOriente, have engaged in social work on various occasions, not only in Tanzania but also in countries like Nepal, India, and Kenya.
We are a group of family and friends, with a traveling and adventurous spirit. Traveling on multiple occasions to several countries in Africa has made the continent inspire, move, and impact us in many different ways.
And just as Tiago said in his last video, “traveling opens doors for us and makes us more humble, realizing that we are all equal.” As a team, we believe we share a common humanity with all the people of this beautiful and curious planet. At the end of the day, we all want to be well, to be healthy, and to be happy in some way.
